Hai Phong City donates 10 gratitude houses to Nghe An Province
On the evening of July 13, a delegation from Hai Phong City symbolically donated 10 gratitude houses to poor households in Nghe An Province.
The ceremony was participated by Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, and Head of the Hai Phong City Delegation to the National Assembly, along with other delegation members.
The event was attended by Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Nam Dinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vo Thi Minh Sinh, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An Province; and representatives from various departments and agencies.
At the ceremony, on behalf of the Hai Phong City delegation, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, and Head of the Hai Phong City Delegation to the National Assembly, presented a symbolic plaque for 10 gratitude houses to Nghe An Province.
Each house is valued at 50 million VND (totaling 500 million VND), intended for poor households and those with housing difficulties in the province.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, expressed sincere thanks for the generosity of the "city of red flamboyant flowers".
He also stated that the funds would be used to create the gratitude houses, ensuring they are allocated to the right recipients, built to technical and quality standards, and handed over promptly to poor households and those with housing difficulties in the province.
