Nafoods Group secures "double" awards for the second time at the Vietnam Listed Company Awards 2025
On December 3, Nafoods Group was honored in the Top 20 Best Annual Reports and Top 4 Best Corporate Governance Companies at the Vietnam Listed Company Awards 2025 (VLCA 2025), organized by HOSE, HNX, and Dau Tu Newspaper.
After nearly six months of voting, surpassing over 500 listed companies on both the HOSE and HNX exchanges, Nafoods Group JSC (HOSE: NAF) was honored to achieve a "double" award: Top 20 Best Annual Reports - Non-financial group. Simultaneously, the company was named in the Top 4 Best Corporate Governance Companies - Small-cap group within the framework of the Vietnam Listed Company Awards 2025 (VLCA 2025).
This is the second consecutive year Nafoods has achieved this double distinction at these awards. This result is clear recognition of Nafoods Group's steadfast efforts in building a transparent governance system, promoting green transformation, and raising sustainable development standards throughout its entire value chain.

Regarding the Annual Report category, 2025 recorded a strong elevation in standards regarding the quality of annual reports from listed companies. With a more comprehensive set of criteria, a rigorous evaluation process, and the participation of a team of experts, the award orients enterprises to shift from "meeting regulations" to "disclosing information to build trust". The emphasis focused on the usefulness of information, the level of connection between strategy - operations - business results, and the enterprise's accountability to shareholders.
The preliminary scoring of Annual Reports was conducted by an independent third party, the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD), based on criteria regarding both content and presentation.
Based on the shortlist nominated by the two Stock Exchanges for the Final Round, the Organizing Committee invited the four leading auditing firms (Big 4) - Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PwC - to review the preliminary results, ensuring strictness, independence, objectivity, and depth in the selection process. The two Stock Exchanges re-appraised the results one last time before the announcement.
As a result, this year saw 97 listed companies with the Best Annual Reports make it to the final round. Of these, 23 enterprises belong to the financial sector and 74 to the non-financial sector. In the final round, the Voting Council - comprising leading, independent, and experienced experts from reputable organizations in the market - based on preliminary scores and discussion assessments, voted to select 10 winning annual reports in the financial group and 20 winning annual reports in the non-financial group.
This is the 8th consecutive year Nafoods has made it to the final round in this award category, and the second consecutive year Nafoods has been honored as one of the 20 enterprises named in the Best Annual Report category for the non-financial group.

Regarding the Corporate Governance category, this year the assessment was implemented across all enterprises belonging to the VNX-Allshare index as of April 2025 - the group with the highest level of representation for the listed market. VIOD's team of experts performed preliminary scoring based on widely published corporate documents such as annual reports, governance reports, charters, internal regulations, and AGM documents, before the Big 4 performed an independent review to ensure standardization and objectivity.
With higher requirements and more detailed evaluation components, this year's results reflect relatively clearly the maturity level of governance systems in Vietnamese listed companies.
This year, 107 enterprises with the best corporate governance situations were selected for the final round, classified by market capitalization. Among them were 35 large-cap, 36 mid-cap, and 36 small-cap enterprises. In the final round, the Voting Council selected 22 enterprises with the best corporate governance, including the Top 8 large-cap, Top 10 mid-cap, and Top 4 small-cap.
2025 is the 6th year Nafoods has entered the final round in this category, and the 4th time Nafoods has been honored in the Top 4 Best Corporate Governance enterprises in the small-cap group. This year also marks an important step forward for Nafoods in attracting international resources as the enterprise successfully signed two green capital contracts with a total value of VND 680 billion from FMO (Netherlands) and responsAbility (Switzerland).
Passing the rigorous ESG due diligence process of major financial institutions in Europe is a signal that Nafoods' green development model is highly regarded internationally. Beyond being a financial resource, this capital flow contributes to consolidating market confidence in the enterprise's long-term growth strategy.

The VLCA 2025 award is therefore not only recognition for the efforts made in the past year but also motivation for Nafoods to continue accompanying the Vietnamese stock market in the process of market reclassification (upgrading), as well as contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's agriculture industry.
