Nghe An collects over VND 6.3 trillion in budget revenue in Q1/2025
Nghe An province collected more than VND 6.3 trillion in state budget revenue in the first quarter of 2025, reaching 35.6 percent of the annual target. The locality is aiming for VND 26 trillion in revenue this year, equivalent to a growth rate of 10.5 percent.

Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Le Hong Vinh, who also serves as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the March 2025 regular meeting of the Nghe An People’s Committee.
The meeting, held on April 3, was co-chaired by members of the provincial Party Committee and vice chairmen of the provincial People’s Committee: Bui Dinh Long, Nguyen Van De, Hoang Phu Hien, and Phung Thanh Vinh.
Also in attendance were Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Nam Dinh and representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.
The hybrid-format meeting was connected online to People’s Committees of 20 districts, cities, and towns across the province.
The session played a crucial role in assessing socio-economic performance during the first three months of the year, and in setting out key solutions to ensure Nghe An achieves the 10.5 percent growth rate assigned by the central government.
Delivering a report at the meeting, Director of the Department of Finance Trinh Thanh Hai said that state budget revenue in Q1/2025 was estimated at VND 6.311 trillion, fulfilling 35.6 percent of the annual estimate and equal to 99.9 percent year-on-year.
Of that, domestic revenue amounted to VND 5.954 trillion, reaching 37.2 percent of the plan and 100.5 percent compared to the same period last year. Revenue from import–export activities stood at VND 293.6 billion, equivalent to 18 percent of the annual plan and 74.6 percent year-on-year.

For 2025, the provincial People’s Council assigned a total revenue estimate of VND 17.726 trillion. In 2024, Nghe An exceeded VND 25 trillion in budget revenue for the first time, with a total of VND 25.517 trillion, achieving 160.4 percent of the target and 118.6 percent of the 2023 results.
According to the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress (2020–2025 term), Nghe An has set a goal of raising VND 26–30 trillion in budget revenue by 2025.

Under Plan No. 126/KH-UBND dated February 28, 2025, which implements the GRDP growth scenario outlined in Government Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP, Nghe An is committed to achieving a growth rate of 10.5 percent this year. The province is also striving to meet its budget revenue target of VND 26 trillion.
