Nghe An welcomes over 1.17 million visitors during April 30 - May 1 holiday
This year's April 30 and May 1 holiday period, lasting five days with favorable weather, created ideal conditions for Nghe An to become an attractive destination for tourists from both within and outside the province.

According to information from the Nghe An Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during this holiday period, the entire province welcomed and served an estimated 1,170,000 tourist arrivals, an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year. Among these, overnight guests reached approximately 370,000. Total tourism revenue is estimated at over VND 1,989 billion, with revenue from tourism services estimated at VND 746 billion.
Many prominent tourist destinations attracted large numbers of visitors during the holiday, including: The Kim Lien Relic Site (Nam Dan), Cua Lo beach, VinWonders Cua Hoi, Quynh beach, Dien Thanh beach, the Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site (Do Luong), and the Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen), among others.

In addition, eco-tourism, green tourism, and community-based tourism continued to make their mark with destinations such as the Muong Thanh Dien Lam Ecological Area (Dien Chau), Sang Le forest (Tuong Duong), Khe Kem waterfall and community tourism villages in Con Cuong district, Muong Long Eco Garden and community villages in Ky Son district.
Throughout the holiday period, security, order, and safety for tourists were strictly and effectively ensured through the coordinated efforts of relevant forces. No regrettable incidents occurred that affected the visitor experience, significantly contributing to building the image of Nghe An as a safe, hospitable, and charming destination in the eyes of tourists.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also reported that it promptly coordinated with the People's Committee of Vinh City to quickly address several issues raised by tourists. At the same time, it implemented appropriate management and operation mechanisms for free services, and strengthened inspection and supervision efforts to build a more professional and friendly image of Nghe An tourism.
