Nghe An welcomes 320,000 tourists during the September 2nd holiday

According to a report from the Department of Tourism, during the four-day National Day holiday, Nghe An province welcomed and served around 320,000 tourist visits, with total estimated revenue exceeding 635 billion VND.

The National Day holiday lasted for four days, with favorable weather conditions that supported sightseeing, entertainment, and leisure activities for the public. As a result, various destinations in Nghe An attracted a large number of tourists who visited to enjoy leisure services, entertainment, and culinary experiences.

Overall, security, order, and safety measures at tourism sites and destinations throughout the province were ensured, with no incidents reported that would disrupt security or affect the safety of tourists.

During the four-day holiday period (from August 31 to September 3), Nghe An province welcomed and served 320,000 tourist visits, an increase of 19% compared to 2023. Among them, overnight stays reached 110,000 visitors, a 22% increase compared to 2023. Total tourism revenue is estimated to exceed 635 billion VND, a 27% increase compared to 2023.

Some of the most popular tourist sites included: Cua Lo Town with over 180,000 visits; the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site (Nam Dan) with over 40,000 visits; Con Cuong District with about 10,000 visits; and the Truong Bon National Historical Site (Do Luong) with 8,000 visits.

In addition, other destinations such as Ong Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen), Quynh Beach, Dien Thanh Beach, Muong Thanh Dien Lam Ecotourism Area (Dien Chau), and the Seven-Tier Waterfall Complex (Que Phong) also attracted a large number of tourists who came to visit and experience these sites.
