Nghe An establishes 5 task forces to direct and accelerate the 2025 plan implementation

The People's Committee of Nghe An Province has issued a decision to establish five task forces to direct and accelerate the implementation of the 2025 plan in line with the predetermined growth scenarios.

Details are as follows:

Task Force 1: Industrial Sector

- Leader: Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of the industrial sector.

- Deputy Leader: Mr. Pham Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

- Members: Representatives of the leadership from relevant departments and agencies, including Construction, Planning and Investment, the Management Board of Dong Nam Economic Zone, Statistics Office, and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees.

Task Force 2: Public Investment

- Leader: Mr. Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- Deputy Leader: Mr. Pham Hong Quang - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment.

- Members: Representatives of the leadership from departments and agencies including Finance, Construction, Transport, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade, Tourism, Health, Labor-War Invalids and Social Affairs, Culture and Sports, Education and Training, Science and Technology, Information and Communications, Provincial State Treasury, Ethnic Affairs Committee, and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees.

Task Force 3: State Budget Revenue

- Leader: Mr. Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- Deputy Leader: Mr. Trinh Thanh Hai - Director of the Department of Finance.

- Members: Representatives of the leadership from departments and agencies, including the Tax Department, Customs Department, Provincial State Treasury, Natural Resources and Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade, Health, Tourism, Construction, and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees.

Task Force 4: Agriculture and Rural Development

- Leader: Mr. Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- Deputy Leader: Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Members: Representatives of the leadership from departments and agencies, including Natural Resources and Environment, Planning and Investment, Finance, Science and Technology, Statistics Office, and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees.

Task Force 5: Service Sector

- Leader: Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

- Deputy Leaders:

- Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of the Department of Tourism (Standing Deputy Leader).

- Mr. Pham Van Hoa - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

- Members: Representatives of the leadership from departments and agencies, including Transport, Information and Communications, Planning and Investment, the State Bank of Vietnam (Nghe An Branch), Customs Department, Statistics Office, and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees.

The task forces are under the direct supervision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and are responsible to the Chairman for the tasks assigned.

Task Force Leaders are tasked with developing specific activity plans for their respective task forces for 2025, associated with lists of products (for industrial products, the specific addresses of factories must be provided), and areas that require inspection, promotion, and support to address difficulties and obstacles. These must be reported to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (via the Department of Planning and Investment) before February 20, 2025.

Direct, supervise, and inspect the Directors of relevant departments and agencies and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees to rigorously implement the main tasks and solutions outlined in Decision No. 112/QD-UBND dated January 18, 2025, issued by the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the 2025 state budget estimate.

Direct and supervise the Directors of relevant departments and agencies and Chairpersons of district, city, and town-level People's Committees to review and develop specific growth scenarios for each sector, field, and key product. These scenarios must clearly define targets, tasks, solutions, and detailed assignments to accelerate growth, achieve breakthroughs, and strive to meet or exceed the goals and targets set for 2025 and the 2021-2025 period.
