Nghe An welcomes around 430,000 tourists during the Lunar New Year
The Lunar New Year 2025 (the Year of Snake) holiday featured many warm and sunny days, creating favorable conditions for spring travel and tourism. As a result, numerous tourist attractions in Nghe An drew large crowds of visitors for sightseeing and pilgrimage during the holiday.

According to a report from the Department of Tourism, over the nine-day holiday (from the 26th day of the last lunar month of the Year of Dragon to the 5th day of the Year of Snake), the province welcomed approximately 430,000 visitors. Among them, overnight guests accounted for 138,000 visits, and total tourism revenue was estimated at 479 billion VND.
Popular tourist and pilgrimage sites included the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site, Prince Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen District), Con Temple (Hoang Mai Town), Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan), Emperor Quang Trung Temple (Vinh City), and VinWonders Cua Hoi Amusement Park (Vinh City), among others.
During the Lunar New Year, the Department of Tourism reinforced directives on legal compliance in tourism service businesses, ensuring security, order, environmental hygiene, and safety for visitors at tourist destinations throughout the province. Tourist attractions and accommodation facilities strictly adhered to regulations, successfully organizing activities to celebrate the Party and the New Year while maintaining security, order, and the safety of visitors and their belongings.
