President Ho Chi Minh devoted his entire life to the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness for the Vietnamese people and the people of the world.

The great, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos have developed from a traditional relationship, which was laid out by President Ho Chi Minh along with Prince Souphanouvong, President Kaysone Phomvihane, and other revolutionary leaders of both countries. This foundation has been meticulously nurtured, and it has evolved into an unwavering, pure, and exemplary relationship, a priceless asset of the two peoples.

Especially since the two countries embarked on their respective renewal processes, facing numerous challenges, the strong tradition of their special relationship and under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, their relationship has been increasingly strengthened, expanded, and has achieved significant successes.
