Suzhou Enterprise Association (China) surveys investment environment in Nghe An
On the afternoon of June 5, in Vinh City, the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee held a working session with a delegation from the Suzhou Enterprise Association (China) during their visit to survey and learn about the investment environment in Nghe An province.
Presiding over the meeting with the delegation was Mr. Bui Thanh An, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Representing the delegation from the Suzhou Enterprise Association (China) was the Chairman of the Suzhou Industrial Park Development Promotion Association and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Suzhou Qinglan Industry Co., Ltd., along with several other members.
At the meeting, the Suzhou Enterprise Association delegation stated that its investors are interested in exploring investments in industrial parks and high-tech zones, and have extensive experience in planning the development of industrial parks and urban areas. This visit is an investment promotion activity following the success of the "2025 Jiangsu Province (China) - Nghe An Province (Vietnam) International Trade Conference" held in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, which a Nghe An provincial investment promotion delegation attended last April.
Raising issues at the working session, the delegation's representative said the survey delegation is interested in topics such as Nghe An's investment attraction policies for the province and its industrial parks; connectivity infrastructure and logistics; policies regarding industrial park infrastructure investment; and the desire for a point of contact to connect, provide information, and support businesses when they come to survey and explore opportunities in Nghe An.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Bui Thanh An, highly praised the goodwill of the Suzhou investors and enterprises in continuing to carry out investment exploration activities in the province. Responding to the issues raised by the Suzhou Association and its enterprises, Mr. Bui Thanh An and the representative from the Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board addressed the investors' concerns.
At the working session, the Permanent Vice Chairman stated: In addition to being ready with planning, cleared sites, essential technical infrastructure, and human resources, Nghe An also attracts investors with its comparative advantages in industrial land lease prices and production energy solutions. "It is no coincidence that Nghe A province has been ranked among the top 10 localities in Vietnam for FDI attraction for three consecutive years. The aforementioned advantages clearly demonstrate Nghe An's appeal in attracting FDI capital", emphasized Permanent Vice Chairman Bui Thanh An.
Regarding the proposal to study the establishment of an industrial park specifically for Suzhou enterprises, the Permanent Vice Chairman expressed his hope that Suzhou businesses would consider cooperating with a Vietnamese infrastructure investor to invest in and plan an industrial park that aligns with their needs and legal regulations, with a special note to focus on developing new-generation industrial parks.
As for the proposal to enhance investment promotion cooperation, the Permanent Vice Chairman agreed and suggested that solutions should be implemented soon to establish regular communication channels between the parties.
