The UK Ambassador to Vietnam lays flowers in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh
On the afternoon of November 27, Mr. Iain Frew, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Vietnam, along with members of his delegation, visited the Kim Lien Special National Relic Site to lay flowers and offer incense in memory of President Ho Chi Minh. Accompanying the delegation were leaders from Nghe An’s Department of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation expressed their deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh—a great leader of the Vietnamese people. He dedicated his entire life to the cause of Vietnam's national liberation and tirelessly fought for peace and progress worldwide. President Ho Chi Minh has been recognized by UNESCO as a Hero of National Liberation and an Outstanding Cultural Figure.
Following this, the delegation visited President Ho Chi Minh's paternal hometown, where they listened to guides recounting his homeland, family, childhood, life and career.
