Nghe An approves Yen Thanh district's registration to meet advanced new-style rural standards by 2025
The People's Committee of Nghe An province has issued a decision approving the addition of Yen Thanh district's registration to achieve new-style rural standards by 2025.
On September 10, 2024, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee, Nguyen Van De, signed Decision No. 2370/QD-UBND, approving the addition of Yen Thanh district to the list of districts aiming to meet new-style rural standards by 2025.
The provincial People's Committee assigned the relevant provincial departments, agencies, and the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district to integrate various programs, schemes, and projects implemented in the district according to their functions and duties as outlined in Decision No. 1595/QD-UBND dated June 8, 2022. They are to guide, direct, and support the local authorities in achieving the standards and criteria for advanced new-style rural districts by 2025.
As of now, Yen Thanh district has 21 out of 38 communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards and 3 communes meeting exemplary new-style rural standards. According to the progress of building advanced new-style rural areas in the district, it is expected that by the end of 2024, the district will achieve this goal.
