Special cultural exchange program featuring Hat Xoan, Cheo, Vong Co, and Vi Giam in Nghe An
On the morning of November 24, at Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center, the cultural exchange program “Journey to the Land of Heritage” took place.
This event is part of the exhibition “Colors of Vietnam’s Cultural and Natural Heritage and Traditional Handicrafts” and featured performances by artists and artisans from several units: Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center; Cao Van Lau Theater (Bac Lieu Province); An Thai Xoan Singing Artisan Group (Phu Tho Province); and Huong Sac Viet Folk Art Troupe (Ha Noi).
The program featured 14 performances, including folk singing, dance, and traditional musical ensemble acts. Many were exceptional renditions of intangible cultural heritage, such as Vi Giam folk singing, Xoan singing, Cheo, and Vong Co singing.
Through the heartfelt and soulful melodies of various regions, the cultural exchange program “Journey to the Land of Heritage” provided a unique and memorable experience for the audience. It enriched and broadened the public’s appreciation of the arts.
